The planer board line retriever is a very efficient, clean and safe way to hold your planer line away from your rod tips and reels during tight turns. This 360° swivel cam cleat allows rope 2mm-8mm to pass through the fairlead and lock in place using the spring loaded locks. Using a simple carabiner clip, you can attach this rope to the tow line and pull it tightly against the gunnel while making a tight turn while trolling. This keeps the planer line safely away from your rod tips and reels, removing the chance of the tow line getting underneath the reel and ejecting it from the boat after the turn is completed.
This product comes standard with a track mount. Operation is very easy and can be completed one-handed utilizing this system.
