The electric control box is constructed of polycarbonate material and has a waterproof enclosure with stainless steel screws. The wire fittings have rubber inserts to grip and seal the wire as it enters the control box to ensure a watertight seal.
Included in the control is a 30 Amp fuse. This unit will control up to two motors using a single remote control. Multiple remotes can be programmed to the same trasmitter to keep spares on your vessel. Each remote comes included with a floating keychain attached. In the event of a remote loss, each motor can be controlled by the momentary switches installed on the transmitter box. Both the remote and the transmitter box will allow for in/out rotation of each planer motor independently.
The wire is 14 Gauge Fine Stranded low voltage copper wire. The jacket of the wire is UV/water/oil resistant. We provide 11 feet of wire from the boat power supply to the control box and 22 feet of wire from the control box to the electric drive reel. Extra lengths are available at customer request (additional charges may apply).
